What is FuturHealth?

futurhealth weight loss

FuturHealth is a very well-rounded weight-loss program that offers support in a number of ways. For example, you can receive weight loss medication after speaking with one of the board-certified medical professionals on the Futurhealth team. This is a complement to your nutrition plan, which takes into account your dietary preferences and restrictions. To make life easier, delivered meals are available. All of your support is sourced through FuturHealth telehealth calls.

My Experience With FuturHealth

I got started with FuturHealth by taking the quiz that is on the company’s website. It’s a very short process, but very thorough. I was asked what my goals are, some details about who I am and so on. Then, I was scheduled for a telehealth call with a medical professional who reviewed all of my information. It was then that I was given a recommendation for the medication I should consider using. I chose to obtain my medication through my local pharmacy, but you can also have it shipped to your home.

I liked the metabolic meal plan. These additional aspects of FuturHealth are nice, as they help support your weight loss goals without just relying on medications. Overall, I felt like the process really focused on teaching more about healthy choices that contribute to weight loss.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With FuturHealth?

The FuturHealth website advertises that using Wegovy or Ozempic can result in a 1.5% reduction in weight during the first few weeks. There is also a scale on the website that can help you estimate how much weight you can lose with this program.

How Much Does FuturHealth Cost?

It costs $99 to start when you first sign up for FuturHealth. This includes access to a prescription weight loss medication, your first appointment through telehealth, dietician guidance, metabolic testing and a weekly updated meal curriculum. There may be additional fees as well, depending on the medication you choose and any other services you sign up for.

Pros

  • Relatively affordable
  • Fast access to prescription weight-loss medications
  • Metabolic testing helps provide effective assistance.
  • Ongoing support provided.

Cons

  • You may not want to utilize all of the different services that FuturHealth offers, but they are included in your initial fee.
  • Your insurance may or may not help with the cost of this program.

What Is Found Health?

found weight loss

Found Health takes into account a variety of factors that can contribute to how you lose weight. This includes genetics, hormones, metabolism, diet, lifestyle and your gut health. This is a very comprehensive approach to not only losing weight, but also to living healthier overall. There are a few different medications available through Found. It will be determined which one works for you when you sign up for the program and complete your initial questionnaire. Your information will be reviewed by a medical provider before a final recommendation is made.

My Experience With Found

The Found signup process took a little longer than what I experienced with FuturHealth. It wasn’t too extensive, though. After signing up for an account, I was able to enter all of my information and get started with setting up an appointment with a Found telehealth medical professional. Something I did appreciate about Found is that they look at a variety of factors that may be contributing to weight loss challenges. I wasn’t really concerned with genetics and such, so that wasn’t overly beneficial for me. I ordered the recommended medication through the mail, and it was at my house within one week. You can reach out to your Found provider any time that you want if you feel adjustments need to be made.

Unfortunately, you can’t find out what Found is going to cost you unless you go through the signup process. There was no trial available, so I had to go ahead and sign up for a full membership.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With Found?

The amount of weight you can lose with Found will depend on the medication you are using and the other changes that you’ve made to your diet and lifestyle. The brand claims that you can lose up to 20% of your body weight in your first year of signing up.

How Much Does Found Weight Loss Cost?

You won’t be able to view your cost estimate for Found until you have created an account, completed the initial questionnaire and confirmed the path that you want to take. This was one thing I didn’t like about Found. The cost will vary from person to person, and you don’t know what you will have to pay until you spend time signing up.

Pros

  • Found takes into account a variety of factors that can contribute to your weight loss journey, including genetics, health, hormones, etc.
  • Different medications and options are available.
  • You can cancel your Found subscription at any time.
  • This is a very personalized approach to weight loss.

Cons

  • You can’t preview the cost of this program. There are a number of factors that contribute to your final price.
